does anyone have any suggestions on where the cheapest place to get about 50 single gange boxes. the box stores around here dont knock any money off for buying a contractor pack. i know they have to be cheaper somewhere.

I dunno. They are $0.50 or so cents at my local Lowe's. Not sure if you are going to get less expensive than that. Frankly, you will probably spent more than that in time making calls to save $5.

Lowes and/ or Home Depot has bulk pricing.

Local supply house. Maybe. They seem to have tiered pricing. Your not a contractor or big customer not gonna get preferred rates.

I agree, I bought handi boxes at a box store for 50 cents and still toss a couple in the cart on occasion but 50 isn't a big deal.

bulk pricing starts at 100. 50 isnt even enough to do a small 2car garage (sarcasm) :)

Lowes does 25% off on certain boxes when you buy 10 or more and then you can use promo code 470000000021460 for an additional 10% off. In the attached example 50 boxes come out to $17.55 plus tax or $0.35 each.

Talk to manager at lowes and they will discount anything in bulk. Like others have stated 50 isn't bulk really.

I usually get the allied 1098 and 1096 fg boxes at menards in cases of 100,just look on top of the shelves.
If you go to the contractors counter and ***** enough sometimes they'll give you a break on them.
Ive found the boxes are cheaper at the supply house, but the romex is always cheaper at menards .;)
