I'm wiring a gen panel to my main panel and just looking at various fittings,
knockouts on the main panel, pull/splice panel etc.
Just a couple of musings/thoughts
When do you use a 3/8-1/2 Duplex Connector as opposed to just running to 2 1/2 knockouts. This question applies to both a panel or a gang box. Is it preferred to run a single cable to a knockout - and when space or lack of KO becomes an issue, you use the duplex ?
Flex Squeeze Connectors Versus Insulated Squeeze Connectors. They both are the same funtionally. Is the insulated just a ~better~ connector as it has a smoother ID ?
When do you choose a 90 degree connector over a straight connector.
In my application, I'm putting the splice panel RIGHT next to the gen transfer panel. I plan to use the 1" KO on the bottom on both panels. and go out from the bottom and come up. I think the bend radius is the same. Either I have a bend on the 90 or I have a long sweeping bend as it makes a U if I use straight connectors on the bottom of the panel
