You don't mention whether or not bldg is detached, or what size subpanel you're installing, but yes, you need to make sure and bond the steel structural supports (thereby grounding skin as well)
basically, since the whole thing is screwed together, this is easily accomplished by bugging onto grounding electrode conductor. Bolt a lug to any one metal part of building, run bare copper to a split-bolt (Burndy) connector attached to the bare copper that connects from subpanel to ground rod.
