I have a very basic question that I'd ask my utility, but currently can't reach them.
I have an agricultural barn (200 amp) that is awaiting inspection. I do not need lighting (long story), and only need electrical outlets. I have 6 outlets installed all per code (and gfci protected), but no lights. Two people that I've spoken to said for an electrical inspection, I must have at least one GFCI protected circuit and one light operated by a switch. Is this common? I'm in TN if that makes a difference.
I should be able to talk to my local PoCo today, but thought I'd toss it out there.
