Anyone using a free program for electrical layout/design? Any good ones out there?

You might be a bit more specific as you can use a spreadsheet to do loads and circuits. Simple drawing program for schematics. Or a drafting program for physical layout. Something to detail and deliver a BOM?


So what do you want this program to deliver?

Typically I just stand in the room and start hanging boxes OR marking locations....

I stand around and start nailing up boxes and moving them. 2 pieces of advice:
Use the heavy duty deep boxes, they are cheap and way easier to use.
Also put dual boxes ie: 4 outlets at every single location. If you feel up for the task use a different breaker for each outlet in a box.
