Electrical panel selection

Shop has a 4 wire panel with no main breaker(sub panel?) The main breaker and disconnect are on the pole outside. Can I use a panel with a main breaker?

If you are talking about replacing your main lug panel with a main breaker style, the answer is yes. You would still need to keep your grounds isolated from the neutrals.

What brand is the existing sub panel,is there room to add a breaker to existing panel?

Looks like we lost a few threads. I called Xcel Energy and was told the service is good for 200 amps. I'll trench from the pole to the shop and properly bury the lines.

I installed(partially) the new panel today, I don't think the existing main lines are going to be long enough when set in a new trench.

EDIT:
I better move it down a bit I'm not that tall. Nothing like having a pile of vintage 2x8's.
