Electrical pig tails at NAPA

Just thought I would share something with you guys. I was a NAPA this weekend and happend to walk by some conversion plugs/drop cords hanging on the wall.

Example- They had a 220, 4 prong plug rated to 50 amps that converts to a 3 prong, 220 outlet.

Also had a cord for converting from 3 prong- 220 down to a standard 3 wire outlet.

They have others too. All rated to at least 30 amps.

They run about $28 and are 2 feet long.

those are probly for rv power.the 3 prong is a 30 amp rv plug.

They're probably intended for RV owners - they use them for the hookups at trailer parks when they travel, in case the hookup doesn't match the connection on their RV. Food vendors use them for their concession trailers as well, so they can connect up to whatever's available at the different fairs they work.
