My building is going up next week. I took the week off to organize and finish out some areas. Electricity is a project for next year (200' trench through solid granite, plus an extra distribution box at my meter, going to be lots of fun).
Under normal circumstances, I would tell anyone to run electrical before insulation. My plan for electrical is MC or conduit runs to external (non-flush) receptacles. In this manner, the supporting structure stays hole-free (no pass-thrus) and everything is fully accessible regardless of insulation. So, I don't see any reason why I can't insulate with 2.5" PolyISO foam board next week. Are there any factors I'm not considering, or reasons why I should delay on insulation?
