Electrician recommendation Orlando

[Lost me beer]

My electrician is getting a bit flakey. Takes a week to return texts, and vms. Starting to wonder if he really wants the biz. He has been out and I have met him and all seemed kosher. Price was reasonable, and seemed like a great guy. Referred to from a friend...he is actually a childhood friend of my buddy's.
Gonna give him another couple days to respond, but thinking it might behoove me to shop around some more.
Anyone have a good guy they have used in the central florida, Orlando area that they recommend? Need a certified guy for permits. Full wiring of my new contruction 24x35 wood framed garage.
Structure will be finished and ready for elect in a week, and my guy hasnt even got anything going as of yet.

Hes probably finishing up other jobs would be my guess.

I would be ok with a return text or call and informed of such. He wont return anything. I have been trying to work with the local power company to get a quote on a separate meeter. He needs to give them some more info and fill out this form. He also needs to let me know placement of certain items so I can dig a trench. Timing is crucial right now. Builder, door guy, concrete guy (for driveway), floor guy, and lift guy need to dance a jig here. Cant do squat until the electrician talks to the power company and decides if we are upgrading the house and feeding off that, or a new meeter. This will determine where the trench will be, which needs to be done before the concrete, but after the garage and doors. It goes on and on. I cannot choreograph thus without return calls.
He finally called back today. Supposed to call the county for placement of new box info and get back to me. This should be good. Monday, sans call, I will hire another.

Update.
I had a chat with him and expressed my feelings. He has been great since. Rough in insp tomorrow, finish tues, and final hopefully wed.
Coming along.
Now to sched the wall guy...
