I thought the outlet box attachment for the multi tools was great.. the wire fishing stuff is pretty cool too. The cable jacks are a must have if your carrying the metal screw jacks around.

If anybody else has some cool products they've run across, I'd encourage you to post them up.

I have a few of their products and are very nice. The cable jacks(guessing these are the wire dispensors?) look nice for some things. I don't do much electrical because I'm not licensed but every once in a while I'll need to play around with wire other then romex and have two of the hand carry roll caddys. One with 10 and 14 and one with 12 in a bunch of colors. You can carry them around with the spools on them. The plastic ones you have to set up and take down for each pull so it looks to be a pain. Found a couple wire pulling tools I need to add to the collection. My electrician works alone so sometimes I help him out pulling wires to get the job done and I can see where a few of those things would have came in handy.

Another good website to waste a few hours is fastcap tools, http://www.fastcap.com/. Lots of neat tools mostly for carpentry.

Www.techtoolsupply.com is another similar site with a ton of innovative and high quality products. They're how I found the Q- Bit outlet box cutter that kctyphoon posted, the Labor Saving Devices products which are just awesome, and the MagnePull and MagneSpot stuff. They do a lot of their own videos of products which are informative, and have awesome service.

I once needed to know a very specific and minute difference between two products, and called them. The lady who answered actually went back to the warehouse and grabbed the tools I was comparing, and examined them for me on the phone, answering my questions.

For what I'm doing now, we use all different size of reels. It's a real pain in the *** since there's no consistency. Right now, this place is using the metal screw type jack stands.. I hate them. Often times they weigh more than the damn reel. Also, some of the work is indoors, or a building in the city, and I'm TIRED of lugging around stuff that is total overkill. I saw one of our contractors using these and had to find out who made them.

I've had a few sets of the rack a tiers wire dispensers for many years. They're still in great shape and are super handy for a multitude of things. Matter of fact they've never gotten hard or cracked or changed shape at all. One set and a couple lengths of 1/2"- 1-1/4" and you've got a quick wire rack for most anything #6 on down. And if you still cut pipe with a hacksaw, waaaaay handy. The funny part is (to me at least) I bought these when they were first released, they were the only product they offered back then. I had no idea they'd grown so much, that's awesome!

Ya I can see them for some situations, especially for the bigger reels. But they showed them set up for pulls of some 12 or something and that seems silly compared to a hand caddy that you can easily move around like you need to usually.

I really liked the wire tub until I looked up the price. I usually keep a roll of 12-2 and 14-2 romex and a roll of 12-2 and 12-3 flex for small things and the wire tubs would be great to store them in. but that would be almost 500 bucks for 4 of them. Think I'll stick to just leaving them in the plastic wrapper they come in.

Man, that rack-a-tiers site is chock full of stuff! Think I might have to get a catalog just to find out if there's a tool I "need".

Thanks for posting.
