Just set the correct pressure for my air tools. I like digital and feel it's more accurate.I can think of 3 different ways to interpret that information request. We need more information, what exactly are you trying to control? The on/off set-points for the motor? Some kind of servo driven pressure regulator? Or a standard mechanical pressure regulator with a digital gauge instead of an analog one?

This ought to get you started. search on pneumatic pressure transducers . And do not come back and say to expensive. You have to pay for 'feelings' . Now if you come back with good numbers and a hysteresis you can live with then we can maybe find something more suitable.

Just looking for a really accurate pressure regulator for on my air compressor. I didn't realize how expensive the digital ones where I thought they'd be like in the $50-$100 range but if you guys can help me find one that is a needle type gauge that would be great all I need to do is set the pressure for my pneumatic tools I don't plan on doing any painting or anything like that. I guess what I'm saying is I don't know what brands to avoid cuz I don't want to buy some Chinese piece of **** I'd rather buy something that's quality and will last a long time.Work on cars is too vague.
You adjust paint guns at the gun, and that will vary throughout the job as things change in the atmosphere. We'll need to know what else you think you need precision for.
I know of a microwave oven that constantly measures voltage variations and adjusts cooking times accordingly.
I do not know of something on cars that requires exact precision.
Barometric pressure and humidity and temperature come in to play when you go for tenths of a pound.
What do you mean by surplus? Is that a brand name I've never heard of it.Most of the surplus center stuff is not china.
