Elite Roboswing gate opener limit nut replacement advice

Has anyone here replaced the limit nuts on their Elite Roboswing gate opener?

Wondering if the plastic can handle me removing the screw and spreading the two halves apart to fit over the shaft or if I have to disassemble the shaft

Would appreciate the advice of anyone that has done this before

Got through to someone at liftmaster who was able to search their library of previously asked questions and the answer is yes, the plastic can handle being spread apart to slip over the shaft

So that's my plan

Will report back once I've done it (or failed)
