Ellis hinged adjustable wrench

I found this neat wrench at an estate sale today. Never seen one before. One side reads 61M ELLIS, the other PAT NOV 303. The adjustable part is free and works. The hinged part is seized up, although l’m not sure how it works, I think you pull out the small knob on the side to unlock the hinge. The wrench is soaking now. Hopefully it will free up and will work. Couldn’t find anything on here like this.
