I bought this one last year sometime after I killed my dedicated scanner by leaving it in my car over the winter, although the one I have has a blue label, (but according to my amazon order history, this is it). Works great with the torque app on my phone and has done what I've needed of it on both domestic and Toyotas, Hondas and nissans, although I don't think I've used it for anything newer than a 2011 vehicle. Wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, especially for the price.

I bought a ~$20 device on Amazon after having a Kiwi2. I would recommend going this route. They can be bought in bluetooth or wifi. I would recommend bluetooth because if you are doing any active data logging while driving, the WIFI will kill your wireless connection.
