email alerts

Is anyone else not getting email alerts to threads your subscribed to or private messages received? I'm using an AOL account and only get alerts a couple times a week if I'm lucky. I'm wondering if its my AOL account. I've checked settings on my account here and all is good with that. Just curious if anyone else is not getting there alerts.

AOL was hacked into about 4-6 weeks ago. You are probably getting hacked into, also. You need to change your password or maybe even get a new email account. They were getting into my contact list and sending ads to people I know FROM MY ACCOUNT. Fortunately, it wasn't ****. It was only weight loss ads with Oprah Winfrey. So, you need to do something fast before someone you know gets an email sent from you- that could be a nice **** ad.

Nope, not having any of them issues actually. This has been going on for a long time, come to think of it, its not just this forum. So I'm thinking its AOL. The only thing on that list that is happening is I'm not getting alerts from gj. And other forums. My account boxes are still full. Everything else is fine. I'm thinking its AOL.

OK someone did or changed something. I haven't got thus many email alerts in 2 months since I started this thread.....interesting!!

nevermind....still ain't working. I'm going to try my gmail account and see what happens.
