I'm sure it been talked about many times, but in a search I can't find quite the same issue.
POCO power is on a 50A breaker at panel. I want to have a generator hookup where I turn off the main breaker, flip on the gen breaker. All works in my head except for the neutral. Can the gen and POCO just share the neutral?

so this is for an RV? Is it cord and plug connected?

Why not just manually unplug the cord from the pedestal and plug into the generator?

Would be a lot cheaper.

Why do you need a transfer panel?

This is Garage Journal right? The obvious answer is always a highly complex solution to a simple problem. Shouldn't we be exploring COO for the cord or something along those lines. A little disappointed here guys...:lol_hitti
