emergency makeshift ribbed belt

This weekend I got started on some Christmas presents using my Delta Shopmaster Midi Lathe and the belt went south on me. It's years old, so I can't complain, but the replacemtent belt is going to take time that I don't have to arrive. Anyone got any good ideas for a makeshift belt that can be used to replace a 3-rib micro vee belt? I believe the belt is 10". Just guessing that it's about 1/2" wide with three raised areas.

I'd just go to an autoparts store, find a match and cut off the extra rib if it's a 4 rib.
