Emglo compressor - Worth fixing?

Dad just called and is considering selling his Emglo compressor. I haven't checked it out in a while but he states that once the compressor gets running and warmed up, the left hand pump would hum and not turn over. But let it cool off, and it will fire back up again. Any ideas?

Additionally what is it worth? And worth fixing or selling as is??

Geez...picked up a mistake I had in the 1st post.

It was the left hand *pump* that doesn't seem to work after the compressor is warmed up, or so he says. I need to get some time to go check it out.

Does anyone even have rebuild kits for these compressors anymore??

How many CFMs does each pump produce? How many hp is the motor that powers it? If a pump is shot, I don't see why you couldn't just grab another pump and plumb it in. I've seen folks have great luck with the HF pumps.

As far as worth, it wouldn't be much with a toasted pump. But if you could get it going cheap, it'd be worth it to you to fix, especially if it meets your air needs.
