Emglo KC Model Compressor Pump Questions.

Here's the details. I have an 80 Gal Tank, a 5 HP 3450 RPM electric motor with a 4 inch pulley. I just picked up an old Emglo KC model pump with the 13.5 inch wheel. With these numbers it's going to spin at about 1000 RPM which is within safe limits for this pump. And the specs say 4.5 to 8.5 CFM is expected depending upon speed.

My question is this pump going to be able to keep up and do what it needs. This setup is in a hobbist garage and see impacts, air ratchets, some sanding and cutting with a 4" wheel but not very often. I'm not sure of the exact CFM that will be needed but basically I don't want to burn up this pump.

Thanks,
Bob

What is the maximum RPM the pump is rated for? It's going to put out more CFM if its spinning over faster.

Also what PSI is the 4.5-8.5 CFM at? some rate at 90psi while I have seen some rate at 40psi so they can put a high CFM number on the label for advertising.

What are the horsepower requirements for the pump? We need to know that to determine if the motor has enough power to turn that pump at that RPM.
Does the compressor have the same belt dimension as the motor sheave? Most of the 3450 RPM motors have a micro groove pulley and many Emglo compressors had an "A" section sheave.

The pump HP according to the site says it can be run using anywhere from 3/4 HP to 5HP. I have a 5 HP. The motor will definately turn it.
Mininum RPM is 550 and max is 1150 RPM. I will be running it at about 1000 RPM however I can't find a PSI rating for the CFM.
