Emglo KU Compressor Repair

Got an old Emglo wheelbarrow Compressor with GX 200 Honda that I use the **** out of. It recently started leaking air back through the Compressor when the engine is stopped, and the idle control hunts between hi and low idle when it hits max pressure.
It pumps up fast and doesn't burn oil, so I'm hoping I can just rebuild the head and get it working right again.
Anyone ever repair one? Any pointers? Best place to get parts?

Sounds like your check valve on the compressor discharge line at the tank is causing the air to leak back through the pump. It could be as simple as disassembling and cleaning it up.

Does this have a check valve between tank and Compressor? Or is
It made into the head? Bought this several years ago as a basket case.

On the electric K pumps I've had with and without unloader (both K and KU) check valves were present. You can get check valves "anywhere" like Grainger/Zoro, or any other online sources. For the hunting, I'm not sure as I've never owned a gas one. I would call Jenny (814) 445-3400 and ask them.
