Emmert Vise (not pattern maker's) Info

Hi folks!
I've been looking fairly hard here and elsewhere but not finding much on plain old fashioned Emmert bench vises.

I just bought an Emmerit Tiger 38 and curiosity's getting the best of me.
I'd like to know if there are big bros to it because I don't think it's quite big enough!

Anyone seen any Emmert bench vise info - history/model nos./specs/dates/pics?

Anyone know of one for sale regardless of size?

Search 'Iron Hand' on the net. You will find lots of info. There are several different kinds of Emmerts. Olivers are really cool and expensive. I have one of the Taiwanese Copies (still in the box). I have a Tucker Patten Makers Vise on my Roubo Work Bench. Paid $200.00 for it and have been offered $1400.00.
They don't make em anymore and are like gold. Slightly smaller than an Emmert but have a Foot Release. Here is a picture;

I have an Emmett machinists vise, I believe it is 4" approx. it's in pieces at the moment. One of these days ill get around to putting it back together. Only one I've ever seen

hello everyone, this is my vise i posted yesterday. i have some more pitures and info. cause now im interested. haha, the maker is Emmert "TIGER" 7inch but cant read the number. i think its No 61 but not sure. cant find anypictures or information on the internet.

I know this thread is 6 years old now, and... there is an Emmert no 47 vise listed on Craigslist nearish me... no cracks or repairs, 130lbs, 5.5" jaws... wants $300.

More awareness, so if the OP is still searching he now has a lead... I feel like it's a good deal, and it's over 2 hours from me, so I probably wouldn't drive that far to get it for myself. If it was $100 I'd drive that far to resell it...
