Looks like the Fairlane was going to get some mods. You might get $2500 for that mess if you bundle the car, parts, MII and rear parts. But it'd be a project and you'd be waiting on a guy with money and raw project guts. The good thing is that 66/67 Fairlane parts are all over.

Thanks, that's good to know. I'm for familiar with the Chevy's than I am with Fords. Any ideas on the pricing for the toploader?

I'm not much on sticks but you could get the code off it and check with David Key Toploaders. I think decent cores run $500 up.

I'd also be interested in the Bridgeport and in the no name grinder. Possibly the Reid if it is all there. I am assuming that is the magnetic chuck on the right end of the table. I'll send you a PM in a little while. The nurse just pulled in for dressing changes.

I would really like the Bridgeport as well and I'd be more than willing to pay more than the asking price and pick it up.............. but I'd really like to see Kevin get this. I think with his recent retirement he'd make good use of it.

Sr mofo. I'm in Cincinnati. I would love the Baldor polisher if you go up there. I could throw in on your trip if that would help. I could meet you up in Dayton.

Looks like you have a cutter grinder and a drill sharpener, the accessories are worth as much or maybe more then the machines themselves, I can't tell from the picture what brand you have, Darex is a popular drill sharpener brand.

Sorry to say, she isn't wanting to get into the tool boxes and tools yet. I believe she may doing something along the line of swap meet/garage sale, for the bulk of the tools and small parts.

Let me know if possible if its a garage sale or swap meet let me know which one if you can thanks.

Well, it looks like the bridgeport is sold. I know that was a popular item. But there are still other peices of equipment.

As for the toploader I found the tag and the code is: RUG BG2. Which after some research looks like it is a 1973 from a Torino with 31 sline.

The vise is a Chas Parker No 3, jaws measure 4 3/4" . she said $100.

Just to reiterate...

Nice Fairlane, I'm a little partial to the 66/67 body (I have a 67). Whats the story on it? The floor pans look sour but the rest looks mostly solid. Clear title?

How about those new quarters, are you parting with those?

What other Fairlane parts did you find?

Well, if you decide to part it out let us know.

Any plans yet on the fairlane and/or said fairlane parts?

Sorry for not getting back to you on this. She indicated that she would be doing a bundle on the fairlane. I know the new quarters are there along with the doors. I believe all of the sheet metal is there. I will talk to her about this next time I call her, and ask if she is ready to move on the car.

She told me she has an offer on the fairlane, with the engine and whatever parts there are. But, no cash in hand. Money talks. This car is a full on project, needing new floorboards.

And for those that were interested in the bridgeport mill, it has been sold.

I'd still be interested in a few of the items. Has she gotten rid of anything yet or just fishing for prices some. If you speak with her can you get an inventory list of what is going to go so we all can have some kind of idea how much coin we have to save up real quick like? I'd still be interested in the Reid grinder if it has the magnetic chuck with it. I'd be interested in some other items depending on what's there and whats left.

tskills10,
I'd be interested in the Baldor buffer, if no one is in line.
Keep me in mind.
Thanks
John

OK guys, I just got off the phone with her, and appareantly she hasn't had much movement on stuff. She is emailing me a list with her prices. Like the old saying goes "Money talks BS walks". She is kind of a private person, so if somebody is seriously interested I will get them in direct contact with her. I do know that the bridgeport in the pics, has been sold.

Kevin- she said that it does have the magnetic chuck.

MDKingsley-- Thanks for the comment on my Mistress. And I'm liking you place. You may find a use for some of what she has.

Just an idea regarding the '63 f100: maybe a post on slick60s.com? There are always guys on there looking for another ford pickup for their collection. Good luck with all this. Seems to be quite an undertaking.

Boog, thanks for the Slick60s.com suggestion. I'll have to check it out. Not a ford guy, so any input is appreciated. And yes she has a hell of an undertaking. My first time in the garage I couldn't help think of the show American Pickers. I was there about 2 hours and didn't go through everything.

srmofo,
he is right on Lake Erie, I'm in the same town, 2.5 hrs from Columbus, 4 and a bit from Cinci

I about an hour and a half from Cincy and MapQuest says it's a four hour drive for me from Urbana. I was up close to there a couple of weeks ago and bought a shear and it was a little over 3 hours.

TSkills....if someone were to purchase something, is there a way to have it loaded? I'd still be interested in the surface grinder. I don't have a trailer anymore so it would have to be loaded in my truck.

Kevin, do you have a folding engine hoist that you could take with you ?

I would think that something could be worked out to get it loaded.

No. I sold it and my engine stand a few years back. After having so many surgeries, I just sort of threw in the towel.

Are there any local rigging places around there or someone with a wrecker? Loading would be my biggest issue. And I hate to drag a trailer that far all for the fact that I have a 4wd Dodge Ram. It only gets 12 mpg running downhill with a tailwind

Tarnished.......if I go up, I could bring back the buffer with me and it would save you a trip driving to the other side of the state. You could pick it up at my place.

Kevin, you're interested in the reed surfacer? I can call a couple of the tow companies and see what they might charge to help load it into your truck. Last I knew she still had an engine hoist and a car lift that might able to be used to load it. would just need to have a couple of guys available to move it around. I'll see what I can figure out to help you on this.

I'm definitely interested if it's all there. IIRC, the table on the Reed might just lift off. I'd have to do a little research. That would lighten things up somewhat. Any info you can get as far as loading, I will definitely appreciate it

Kevin, sorry for te delay in getting info, been a really busy summer for me. I was out at her place the other day and she still has alot of stuff. She told me that she can get anything to the door and loaded if you have the truck or trailer. So I'll PM you her number and hopefully you and her can work out the details.

Tom...Is she the type of person that is busy on Sundays or no? If not, I'll give her a call today. I have to be in Columbus @ 8:00 in the morning for a quick doctors appointment. According to Mapquest, I have to go through Columbus anyways to head up that way. I ay possibly be able to kill two birds with one stone.
