Hi everyone.

I am working on installing a sub panel in my garage and have a question. I am running NM Cable for all the wiring and am planning to run EMT from my attic down to the top of the panel (this will be inside the drywall and act as chase tubes for the cable). I am planning to run 3/4" and 1 1/4" conduits to the panel. What do i use at the top (attic side) on the conduit where the NM cable enters the conduit to protect the cable? I know they have the clamp connectors but i can only find those for 1/2" emt.

Thanks
Michael

you could use a emt box connector on the end of the emt and use a plastic bushing on the threads, a box connector with a coupling and screw in a romex connector. probley more ways also.
