What is the easiest and cleanest way to transition from EMT to sealtite flexible conduit.
I know a J-box could be used but would like to avoid it.
The only way I can figure it out(using home improvement store stock) is to use 3 different fittings. EMT compression fitting to 1/2 hub, 1/2" threaded coupling, then sealtite fitting.

One way is a Rigid to EMT connector then use a sealtite fitting, some in the electrical community argue that a rigid conduit coupling is not listed to couple a EMT connector & a sealtite connector, but as Aceman said, it's the way it is done.

The rigid to EMT connectors are not cheap, nor do big box stores carry them, the easiest way is just to make them up as shown in the photo.

Depending on how many bends you already have in the run, you might be forced to install a pull point prior to changing over to seal-tight. If this is the case and you don’t want to use a junction box, try using a “C” condulet. This makes for a clean install without the mounting issues and space requirements that a pull / junction box requires.
