Thanks OP, I was hoping Enco would offer up a decent discount. Got my final pieces I needed for my new work bench :)

Anyone getting anything cool this time? I wish the new December Deals 2015 catalogue was out already so it'd be easier to find some new stuff.

Everytime the sale runs, I grab cutting fluid. I should be stocked for now.

I wish the December catalog was out :(

That dude that started the "What DP Vise should I get" thread in the last day or two should get the XY 6" from Enco.

Mines an old POS (not Enco) and hard to turn (from being a POS, not from lack of lube/maintenance), so I may get a new one and round file that *************.

Couple Bessey F Clamps are on sale, and so are on/off magnets for welding.

Enco has pretty good every day prices, which turn to great prices during these sales, on Precision Twist bit sets if anyone needs an idea.

All I can find are Hertels. Are those the ones you meant? It bares repeating that their website is really awful to work.

I am possibly eyeing a set of transfer punches from them. There's a import set for 22$ and a USA set for 64$. I can't really imagine they're much different from each other. Also I have seen bad reviews for every transfer punch set out there but I think people are wailing on them expecting to be able to use them to actually make the hole and not just mark it!

I have the Enco imports in metric and English. I've had them for more than 10 years, use them at work, no problems. A lot of the import sets have points that aren't centered well. The Enco's are fine.

The US made ones are considerably harder. If I used them every day, I'd probably spring for them.

I agree with Tinner,

I haven't seen the Enco imports but I do come across other imports sets and there's three possible issues to look out for:

1. The actual OD tolerance may differ from size it's suppose to be due to bad castings and low quality finishing, i.e.: There's more wiggle room than there should be? If you need real accuracy then your probably not dealing with imports to start with.

2. Like tinner said, the import points may not be centered correctly, I have found this to be the case because of what said above in #1.

3. Most importantly the US versions will have a much higher PSI than the imports which will make a huge difference in longevity.

The imported center punches ten years ago could have come from Taiwan which is significantly better than mainland asia. Recent imports can change widely in quality due to different factories being contracted to make them.

Problem is Enco only lists them as imports. Are they imports being made in Taiwan, China or India?

I will say center punches are a godsend when you need them.

$255 on Zoro sale

So recently I was in need of 10 machine leveling ball studs/feet. Zoro's price was $30ea and Enco's $18 (before the recent discounts). The same exact manufacturer at that. Both companies offer up some decent deals, ya just got to do your do diligence.

That's what I like about this place, someone always knows where the best deal can be found.

Thats what's odd about Zoro.

I bought a Tile saw today, they were 32 dollar cheaper the HD before coupon, plus no tax for me.

I had that happen earlier this fall when I bought some thing else, the saving was about 100 bucks difference on 250 dollar item.

FYI: I just got the December Hot Deals catalog and it's virtually the same as Novembers, so no need to about losing out on new deals.

I did see one thing I wanted, so I'm going to wait till after midnight and see if the code still works. On page 5 there's an SPI Dial caliper for 26$ that looked like a good deal. Maybe it's not?

The free shipping does not include freight items- over 120# is what customer service told me. I priced out a 3 ton ratcheting arbor press for a great deal of $148.00 but the freight shipping of 148#s would tack back on $81.00 so not so great. Individual items purchased and shipped thru ups is a good deal with the 25percent off though. That little ole gal told me smart alecky like "it's Cyber Monday not Giveaway Monday🙅

That's not a bad deal, I would go for the 8" for $22.50.

Just tried checking out my items and saw the discounts were not making sense. They stopped the Nov. Hot Deals prices. Hopefully the Dec. deals will kick in before the morning.

The December Hot Deals are on their page now, but it tells me they can't find the Model# NE414-0580?

I'm having the same problem. The sku's are different and not yet in the system.

The SPI caliper is new and not in normal catalog. For having a certificate of calibration it probably weeds out a lot of the problems/quaility issues that most asian calipers have.

$23 for an 8" is not bad at all, that's if the 25% is going to work on top of the hot deal price.

Yeah I couldn't believe it came with a NIST certificate. I hope it shows up before the deal is over!

We have extended our Exclusive Online Only Savings Event! Cyber Monday has been EXTENDED!

Take 25% Off* all orders! No Minimums! No Exclusions! PLUS Free Shipping*

Use Promo Code: CYBER take 25% off and Promo Code: MONDAY for Free UPS Ground Shipping*.

To take advantage of both offers, be sure to enter both promo codes prior to checkout. Simply enter: CYBER (then click apply) for 25% OFF, then enter: MONDAY (then click apply again) for Free Shipping!

I'm hoping that means that it's extended to Tuesday. Also the SPI Calipers show up now but not at sale prices. I really hope the sale prices show up tomorrow and the sale is extended. I'll definitely get the 8" calipers, and probably a transfer punch set and maybe some ACME rods and nuts. Come on Enco! *crossed fingers*

I think you just need to call them and tell them their website is down because it says no exclusions but the Hot Deals are not working.

I bet, if you call them they will honor the hot deal prices and process the order over the phone.
It would be easier if you were able to put the hot deals in the cart so the operator can see them and adjust the prices.

Come on, we can't be surprised. Their website is so badly created, something like this has be expected.
