my 32 x40 shop is up and I'm doing the wiring and getting ready to insulate
It has scissor trusses spanning 32 ft and i've noticed that the end walls are bowed out at the top header on both ends
I know the framer mentioned this last year but that was the end of it
I ran a cable from the top of both headers and used a comealong to **** everything together
need a permanent fix though before i finish the interior
any thoughts are appreciated

Well I would tie the bottom chord of the trusses in the entire length of the garage from endwall to endwall. I like to use plywood or osb for the ceilings because it has more dimensional stability than drywall does and will retain the structure and dimensions of the building better.

I can see some horizontal 45 degree braces going from the side walls to the 1/3 point of the end walls.
It would cut into you ceiling height in the corners.
But we usually end up stacking stuff in the corners anyway.

I would first try and find out why they are bowing.
Is there some kind of stress on them?
In most pole barns the end walls are just curtains.
They are not structural.
