Endoscope / Borescope for Android phone (low cost)

Worth a try for the money, I would say. What is OTG AND UVC.......?
I have a Motorola moto G, 2nd generation, is that compatible, does anyone know?

OTG means "On-The-Go". It's what they call it when your phone can act as a host instead of a client for USB. Normally, you might plug your phone into a computer. In that case, the computer is the host and the phone is the client. The phone shows up on your computer and you can pull files off it. You can't go the other way though, your PC doesn't show up to your phone and you can't control your PC from your phone. With On-The-Go your phone can control another device like the camera or a USB flash drive. I would suspect almost any phone made in the last 3 or so years supports OTG.

Yes these are all over ebay with varying prices. Think i paid $12 for mine. Its definitely cool and works well.

I bought one to use on a sewer line in my basement. You get what you pay for. Fixed focus, so you can only see stuff that's pretty close, I'd guess under 6 inches, maybe less. The camera is small, and the cord is very flexible, so you can't push it, and the little spring thing which is supposed to be used for stability is pretty much useless. I fastened the camera to a piece of stiff wire, which helped. Field of view and orientation was still a problem, but with care and practice you might be able to get some use out of it. It may be better as a borescope (for which it was designed, I suppose) where the field of view is less.

I have one of these for my phone and tried to use it as a borescope this weekend on my Cummins and it did not work. I could make out outlines but I could not see details in the cylinders, see if there was pitting, discoloration, holes, etc in the pistons. If the area that you are working in has plenty of light it might work, you sure can see things outside well, but as soon as it went into the injector hole the focus was gone and I even tried adjusting the brightness of the scope several times.
