I got a goodyear off craigslist for 50 bucks not working ,guys kid unscrewed the valve out and lost the check ball a 99cent repair and I have a good hoist that puts harbours to shame

Hey Bmwpower,

Did you ever get an explanation on how to work that Osberg leveler? Sorry if this is a dumb question but, can you adjust the angle under load? It seems like the load will slip as soon as you release that manual ratchet.

Sorry, man, no I didn't. Dealing with my HF leveler for now.

I found out the reason , pinning the legs was so hard. I had the wheels on it backwards

I have the HF 2 1/2 ton that folds. I looked around for the one with the highest lift and this was it. I have used it for lifting truck cabs and engines. I agree that it isnt the fastest thing and not the easiest to manuever, but it was under $200 on sale and works as well as I need it to. The folding is great just to get it out of the way when not in use.

Northern Tool hoist here and it works GREAT! Unloaded my HF toolbox this weekend with it and was really pleased with the lift height.
