got some engineer pliers, have to say they are pretty awesome. they do seem to do an amazing job at grabbing damn near anything.
had a few minutes at work so i took a second to test their claim on the package of "HRC 56".
their website claims 60 +-2 HRC as well. i got some weird results, which im guessing could come from poor grinding practices on the finishing line, but seems like they are going to be good steel.
i got 60 a few times on it but also the lower readings which im assuming could have been caused due to the part rocking slightly on the pedestal, which can happen if the pliers had uneven grinding done. the rockwell tester does best on things that have been squared and surfaced properly.
also worth noting, but didn't take pictures, that pz-57 (black handled small) claim to be the same HRC but came out to only 48 on both jaws. hopefully only due to my lack of a good base to put them on because of the odd shape of the head.
