Good day, I'm in the process of applying for permit to erect a 35 x 52 steel building. The drawings for the building have a note describing that I need to have engineered drawings for my foundation. I found a company that sells a D-I-Y foundation kit with certified drawings included for around $7000. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for me in this situation, 7K seems like a lot of money for the kit but it does include all the rebar and anchor bolts that are needed. I don't have a big budget so I'm trying to do whatever I can do myself within reason. Thanks in advance.
