Hi!
I like working with my hands as much as possible - have been a powertrain controls engineer / calibrator for about 20 years - and finally at a point where I can spend some money and expand my hobbies. In the past few years, I have learned to love working on old vehicles and modifying just about everything else.
I'm looking into building an outbuilding to do more restoration and mods - as my current garage is packed full - and though there are many folks that do more with less room - I'm tired of it.
Here's a shot of my current space from a year ago - I have more packed in there now....
It's roughly two cars wide by 1.5 cars deep - off in the far corner, you can see the 8x8 platform I built to double the storage area there.
For a beginning - I'm also trying to figure out how to replace the two support posts in the center with a single, central post. That would let me move a vehicle 90 degrees once inside and not have to be working around a pole or up against a cabinet.
Stuff I currently like to work on:
&
I'm here to learn-(I'll also help anyone that has questions relating to automotive stuff)
Hope to be a productive member -
Scot
