Entry Lip

Looking to do Racedeck Free-Flow for my garage very soon, however was wondering if others had issues/concerns over the entry lip. I think it's a bit tall at about 1-1/2", does anyone typically make some sort of ramp/wedge/filler? Or do you guys not find it to be a problem? My wife seems to struggle getting her car in (side entry garage)

Then was wondering about water drainage. My thought was to make a bead of silicone to divert water around the column. Or am I over thinking things?

When I looked at racedeck they have some "edge" pieces that is supposed to be the transition from the floor to the tiles.

As far as drainage, I'm wondering the same.
