I bought a replacement cluster.

If I plug it into my vehicle, will it lock my vehicle -- even if I put the old cluster back in?

Shouldn't lock it up. I can't remember off the top of my head but sometimes new clusters need programming. Again i can't remember

I’m not a mechanic, but I did replace 2 of the motors in the cluster of my wife’s Envoy without a problem. I think you’ll be ok. Complete instructions were available on YouTube, so they may be able to help.

I've removed my cluster and put it back in many times. I'm concerned about a data mismatch when I put in a different cluster.
