I think I've asked this before, but I am needing a new work box should I get a snap on epiq 84" with a SS top and locker, or a Mac Macsimizer 84" with SS top and locker. I am just wanting drawers no electronic tops or power banks

It comes down to which box you like better and which dealer you would rather deal with. Overall I'd say the boxes are very comparable. It case of warranty say a slide or caster, SO would probably be quicker to deal with. Not saying Mac wouldn't honor their warranty, just seem more likely to drag their feet.

Have you been up close and personal with both style boxes? After using the epiq for minutes the latches on all other boxes seemed wrong.

Also if you get the rock and roll cab express from snap on, you can pick your drawer layout and colors for no up charge.

If you are planning on financing the box, look at the rates and prices, you could end up paying way more for one box because of the interest rate.

Given the low borrowing rate whichever box you choose i would get finance from an independent source rather than the truck finance scheme..

I'd also say it's all about the dealer and the deal he gives you.
And you don't have to wait for the Rock-n-Roll tool box guy to get special options. He's just a rolling showroom for boxes and a bit more knowledgeable on box details. Your regular guy can set up the same deal with or without the RnR guy.

Epic for me without a doubt. Hard to justify for a farm box but I'm always trolling CL for the right deal on one.

The only way I'd take a MAC box was if it was free so I could trade it in for the Epiq.

Ever played with a Macsimizer? Its a really really nice box.

For me it would come down to best drawer layout and pricing over branding.
