Hello all...thanks for all the helpful info available. First time poster...

So...new construction home, planning on 100% solid epoxy base, in the garage, with two polyaspartic topcoats, and full coverage. Wife and I prefer the look of quartz and chipped stone vs flakes.

Are there any pros/cons with the chipped stone vs quartz?

Should I add an anti-slip to either? (Couple of young kids)

Garage will be used as a woodshop if that matters

Much thanks.

Hi
We carry quartz broadcast floors. You would need to do a double broadcast system since the quartz doesn’t go on super evenly on the initial coat.

As for stone our caution would be that stone would tend to have large gaps between the stones and you would have not only an irregular surface texture but also you could end up needing a LOT of epoxy to fill these millions of gaps between the stones. Polyaspartic probably won’t fill them, it may be too thin. Quartz and stone is very different than a fill fleck broadcast.

We can set up a quote for a quartz project, please contact us directly at below, not PM.

Thank you.
