I have searched for foam in the title under the flooring and couldn't find this anywhere so here goes:
I will be epoxy coating about 500 sq ft in the up and coming weeks with Epoxy-Coat. I have a 1 inch border of Foamular 250 insulation around the perimeter which is level with the concrete floor and can be seen from above.
Will the epoxy adhere to, damage, melt, etc the foam insulation border?
I know some types of foam don't like some chemicals and basically melt to nothingness.
What do you think?
Thanks
Edit: I also thought of one other question. Can the epoxy coat stand up to direct sunlight. There is a small portion of the floor that extends past the garage door to outdoors. I thought about covering this with epoxy or maybe just the clear...Or do you suggest that I stop the epoxy at the door seal and just seal the 6" to 8"concrete part past the door with concrete sealer?
