Epoxy-Coat as a primer?

If you use our product for a prime coat you can thin it with MEK by about 6-8%. I try to stay on the conservative side of the thinning process.

Has anyone ever done this?

Desmo, no need to ever question what rugerlady from Epoxy Coat mfgr says on her product line. Certainly epoxy coat can be used as a primer. Thinning it as suggested would be a better primer and grab better. You can also use water based epoxies for this purpose. Other mfgrs also offer primer products that are epoxy like Legacy above. - Paul
