Epoxy-Coat Coverage Differences

I am planning to use the Epoxy-Coat kits in Gray on the Floor. I am looking at the kits on the Lowes site as I have a 10% off coupon to use there but both the 384 fl-oz and 768 fl-oz kits list the same coverage.

Am I missing something?

384 fl-oz kit

I am trying to cover 900sq ft.

Great question! You may need to call Epoxy-Coat directly and get the answer from them.

the 768 oz kit is the "premium" - it includes a second coat of clear epoxy, as a top coat
you get 6 gallons of total product

the 384 oz kit does not include a top coat. plenty of advice/options on this forum for top coats (i.e. maybe go poly?)

The 768 oz kit is our Premium kit. It includes the base coat, enough flake for heavy coverage, clear coat and spike shoes.
The 384 oz kit is our standard kit. It includes the basecoat and enough flake for light coverage.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance with an order. Lowe's does not give you the option to choose your own flake colors.

Coverage is based on a square foot measurement, not bought quantity. Usually 200-400 Sq Ft per gallon.

Hi Christine. You may want to look at the way Lowes is displaying the two kits in question. I can understand the confusion. The specs listed by Lowes is identical for both kits and no where does the premium kit state that it is a two coat kit with the clear epoxy top coat.

Thanks Shea, Lowe's did not translate the product well or completely. I have been working on trying to get this changed. Lot's of people are getting confused.
