I see it covers 500sf but do y'all think it would cover 720sf without buying more? On a tight budgets thats all ready over spent? going on new concrete in the new shop?

You would have to spread it super thin to get that coverage and you would not like the results... Check in with Christine - she knows her product very well....

SuperMerle, I just did my floor yesterday and completely agree with these guys ... I covered 350 SF with one kit, and had about 1/2 gal left over. I'd estimate the leftover would cover another 50-75 SF so that would give a total of about 400. I didn't "stretch it" when rolling, since I knew I didn't need to cover 500 SF, but I'm sure the kit would cover 500 if you rolled it out thinner than I did. But I can't imagine getting 720 out of one full kit. I'd recommend that you buy one full kit and one half kit -- or better yet, if you have a Lowe's near you that stocks it, buy two full kits (Lowe's stocking stores sell it for $194/full kit -- but a non-stocking store will charge you way more as a special order). It's nice to have some extra just in case.

Agree with everything stated above. I used 1 full kit to do 361 sq. ft. and I used the entire kit. I put it on thick and it looks great. 720 sq. ft. is really pushing it and if it's too thin in some areas, it's not going to look right.

Don't do it. It will never cover, you will not be happy. Call me and we can talk about your situation.

First, thanks for everybodys response. Rugerlady, I'll call you tomorrow when I get a chance. The only bad thing is today I've found out that they are doing away with our department and the floor may have to go on hold :(. They finished up my building today and now I've got to come up with a way to pay for the balance of everything? I had saved for most of the building and my FIL loaned me some money that will need to be paid first. Enough said here but I will have a epoxy coat floor one of these days but not as quick as I had hoped for. Right now I'm a little:eyecrazy:!!!!

What do I need to do to prep my new concrete to get ready for the Epxoy-coat. The floor was finished smooth with a power trowel? Do I do anything special or just buy the epoxy-coat and everything will be in the bucket? Will the acid ectch harm the steel support columns? I've watched your video, but? There is no grease on the floor just a couple of coke spots that the building people got on the floor during erecting the building?
