epoxy-coat floor layering question

Hey there everyone. I am in the process of putting an epoxy-coat brand premium floor kit on my garage. Short story is my garage area that will be coated is about 510 square feet and the epoxy-coat 500 square feet kit didn't quite stretch that far. I have an area of roughly 50-100 square feet that I need to yet coat. My kit will be here in a few days for the remainder. Would it be possible to just pour the epoxy in the uncoated area and just squeegee amd roll up up the the rest that is already dried or will it not adhere to the already dried epoxy? Do I need to sand or prep a few feet of the dried epoxy where I will be blending the uncoated floor into the coated floor or can I just blend it up to the dried epoxy. Any insight would be appreciated thanks!

Was there a reason you wanted to "re-coat" the previously painted area? How did you prep you concrete originally? What is your location? is it hot or cold or etc?

However as to the areas already coated...yes you should lightly sand any area that needs to be recoated with 100/80 grit, particularly if its been more than 3-4 days since it was applied...

If you take a look at the PDS (product data sheets) for the materials, it should give you a"Re-coat" window. If you are past that re-coat window you should rep rep accordingly.

Yes, sand as my colleague mentioned. Wipe down the sanded areas with a solvent dampened towel or old shirt(lint fee is best). Dampen with denatured alcohol.
