Well it is finally finished. I researched a long time before I decided to do this and ended up with Epoxy-coat. I purchased 3 full kits (assembly blue with white and glow flakes) for my 1360 sq ft garage. Dealing with Christine was fantastic. She was very helpful and shipping was great. With that said I did speak to the receptionist on a few occasions and was not happy with her. If anyone is dealing with Epoxy-coat I recommend asking for Christine.

Back to the flooring...... I started with fresh concrete that I poured in June. There was no sealers added at the time I poured. I did a mosture test with plastic wrap for 2 days, no mosture in the slab.

I first pressure washed the floor for 2 hours. Then I left dry for a couple hours and then used the acid wash, scrubed it in as recommended and then rinsed the pad 3 times.

****then I let the concrete dry for 3 DAYS with 2 fans and a dehumidifier on.....not the 6 hours like it says in the instructions. There is no way the concrete would be dry in 6 hours******

Then i simply applied the epoxy as directed. It took me and my wife 7 hours to do the whole garage. I am very happy with the final result, thank you Christine and Epoxy-coat.

Enjoy.

I will have to get more pictures in the next few days.

The only thing I was disappointed in were the glow flakes. I got 3 1/2 bags of glow flakes and 8 bags of white flakes. I mixed all the flakes together and then divided them into 12 even bags as I had the pad divided into 12 sections.

When I started to flake I soon realized I had WAY to many flakes that what I wanted. I ended up only using 1/3 of the flakes. I should of mixed one to one and I would of had enough.

So at the end of the day the glow doesn't have the effect I wanted.

I will try and get you some pictures.

Sweet job and glad to see another person explain flaws in the MFG instructions but they took the time to research and **** success.

Good looking floor and jealous of the glow in dark.
