Epoxy-Coat on Wood?

I'm hoping to use epoxy-coat on my garage floor but I also have some wooden steps and a raised area where the floor is osb. Will epoxy coat work on the stairs and the osb? should or could I use self leveling compound on the osb before applying the epoxy coat? I know epoxy coat is self leveling but when the osb was installed it was done with the rough side up so there are some pretty deep spots on it. Thanks!

It will work on wood.

Regarding whether it will show the texture of the wood underneath it... that will depend on how thick the coat is. From experience I would guess that, for any thickness you apply that won't flow off the edges of the stairs, you would likely see a smoothed out reproduction of the OSB pattern on the top of epoxy unless you smooth it out beforehand. You could also consider apply two coats - the first acting as a leveler.

You can use our product on wood! I will recommend two coats on the steps. Please call me for additional help on this.
