I recently purchased the Rustoleum EpoxyShield floor coating for my 13yr old 400 sq ft garage.
Before prep:

I purchased one color kit and a one clear kit. Yesterday I followed the floor preparation instructions. I power washed the floor followed by a concrete cleaner/ degreaser. Next I applied a muratic acid etching. I mixed 1/2 gallons of muratic acide to 2 gallons of water. I only used about 1.5 gallons of the mixed solution. Following the EpoxyShield instructions, I scrubbed and rinsed the floor 3 times after the initial acid etch application.
Here are pictures after the preparation:

The after prepped floor still has some darker spots. The floor looks a million times better then when I started but I'm not sure if it's good enough for the epoxy coat. If anyone has prepped an older garage such as mine, could you please tell me if this looks ready for epoxy?
