Epoxy Coat question

I have done research and contacted the folks at Epoxy-Coat, but I am asking y'alls opinion. I want to put epoxy coat on my drive way that is outside in the elements. My concrete looks like **** and I am hoping this will fix it. I'm just worried about the long term effects of the sun and rain and snow. Any comments??

About 8" of my floor extends outside under my garage doors and the epoxy there has not held up very well. It's still there, but faded and very porous.

Epoxy will yellow in a matter of a few months with UV exposure.

The epoxy will yellow and will look dull. The epoxy will still hold up to the elements though, it should not become porous.

X2 on this.. I ran the Epoxy-Coat all the way out the door and while it has yellowed a little, it is holding up very well..

I would be more concerned with the prep work you need to do. I used Grout to fill my expansion cracks and it would probably work well outdoors as well to fill voids and once coated would be almost undetectible..

Epoxy outside is not a choice. Besides of the deteriorating factors of UV, it also doesn't allow the concrete to breath. A cementitious overlay would be the correct choice. There are products out there that can be purchased off the shelf but they are mostly just acrylic modified or PVA's that will not last a long time. You need to honor all crack control and expansions joints.
