Getting ready to apply Epoxy Coat to my floor and I have a few questions, any help would be great, thanks.
1. I used a Edco grinder to grind the floor, do I need to use the floor prep to etch the floor?
2. If I use the floor prep, I can't use a hose or power washer because I have Sheetrock walls and no place for the water to go, can I mop it up with water?
3. I used a Concrete crack sealer on the cracks and holes to make the floor smooth, is there any issues with applying Epoxy coat on top of that stuff? I believe it's a polyurethane sealer.
4. Should I mop the floor to get the dust off or use the power blower before applying the Epoxy Coat?
5. I have a boarder at the door and plan to tape it off, how long should I wait to remove the tape after I apply the Epoxy coat?
6. Is there a better way to make a boarder without tape?
7. Once I apply the Epoxy Coat and flakes, how long should I wait before I can apply the clear coat?
8. Once I apply the clear coat, how long does it need to set up completely?
