Epoxy-coat realistic cure time?

Over the weekend I finished my epoxy-coat floor with the clear coat on top. The temps were in the 40's to 60's. Epoxy-coat recommends 24 hours before driving on. Me personally I don't feel that is long enough. What is a realistic time frame for a good and hard cure. It is hard to the touch and you can walk on it but if you dig your fingernail in hard it leaves behind a small mark. It has been down for about 30 hours at this point.

Ive been told by some local installers 72 hrs for real high psi stuff like tool boxes on casters. cant hurt to give it some time.

That's kinda what I was leaning towards a week or two before parking on it. When you invest this much time and money into grinding and installation I'd have a cow if I damaged it.

Minimum 72 hours before driving on it. Longer with the cold temps. If you want to be extra safe you can always park on a couple strips of plywood for a few days after the 72 hour mark. Epoxy usually takes a full 7 days to reach a 100% cure.

I used to own an epoxy flooring franchise and there are lots of variable to name here, but generally speaking 24hr is the minimum amount of time to wait before walking on a freshly coated floor. In cooler temps, waiting as long as a week before driving on a surface is recommended.

Stay off your floor for at least a week. After a week confirm that the floor is dry and tack free before parking on it. Not knowing where you are or the temperature or humidity, it tough to know exactly. BUT 100% solids epoxy absent ridiculous conditions should cure in that 7 days.

That said, and I have seen this. If you are in a humid area and the floor still feels sticky, you might consider waiting a little longer.

It's a 24 hour cure time when applying in 70 degree temperature and low humidity. I recommend waiting 3-7 days (depending on temps/humidity) before driving on your floor. As Justin stated above, confirm that it is cured and tack free before driving on it. Humidity and low temperatures can cause a slow curing time.
