Epoxy-Coat Tommorrow Questions

I am planning on putting down epoxy coat tommorrow and have a few questions.

My garage is 30' w x 32' deep. with saw cuts dividing it in to quarters.

I plan on doing 15'w x 8'd sections. This will allow me to use the center saw cut as a guide and give me an even 8 sections.

If my calulations are correct I should use 1/2 gallon (2 qt.) of part A and 1 qt. of part B per section? This should give me 8 parts

I plan on using individual measuring buckets to pre measure each section rather than using the stick as I go. so I should have 8 1/2 gallon buckets of Part A and 8 1 qt buckets of part B. Is there any problem with premeasuring this way and leaving the indvidual buckets uncovered and ready to mix?

Temp's tommorrow are low 75 high of 88 with a chance of a stray shower supposedly mainly in the afternoon. I plan are starting first thing in the morning so i should be finished before the rain.I know that you shouldn't apply while raining however if I am applying and happen to be the one that gets the stray shower should I finish the section and stop applying ? I would have the doors closed if it rains.

Should I have enough time to do a 15X8 section with these temps?

I have a saw cut and wall as an east west border but need to mark of the north south border. Can i use a sharpie and draw line or blue tape?

Your measurements are correct.

Do you have any help? My wife and I did ours in a similar fashion. We had eight sections and mixed them one at a time, but we didn't pre-measure all eight sections. We used one measuring bucket for part A and one for part B per kit, for a total of four measuring buckets with two kits.

For the first batch we mixed, squeegeed, and rolled it and while we were waiting to backroll that section for the second time she would mix the next batch.

While I was doing the second backroll on the first section she would pour and squeegee the next one. As I made my way across the first batch she would have the next one squeegeed and ready for it's first roll. I just kept the roller moving. Once the first roll of the second section was done I'd throw flakes on the first section with her mixing the next one and we'd keep that process moving.

It took us three hours to do 864 sq ft, start to cleanup.

I snapped a chalkline for my border at the garage doors and used blue tape. Pull the tape while the epoxy is wet, but not fluid.

Your measuring should be fine. Regarding the rain, you do not want to be applying during the rain. While the epoxy is curing, if there is alot of moisture it can cloud the coating. I would make sure that the epoxy does NOT get wet and its just a passing shower if the epoxy is in the curing stages. Moisture and curing epoxy do not get along well. Call me if you have more questions.
I will have the tech support lines this weekend. If you need any help, call the answering service or get my cell # from the contact psge of the website.

Hopefully the rain will cooperate, if it rains it is supposed to be later in the afternoon, hopefully if it does the curing process will be far enough along. Problem is in florida it can rain at anytime when ever it wants to.

I do have an air-conditioner in the garage and was thought about leaving it running at like 80 degrees just because it would help de-humidify the garage. But then wasn't sure if it would mess me up on curing the epoxy so was going to leave it off.
