Epoxy coating help

I've done the acid etch, citrus etch, and finally dimabrush. The concrete still feels smooth somewhat. i can see some texture but it's like maybe 200-300 grit feeling. Washing it down water seeps in pretty quick. Is that normal.

I have the white powder left over, getting a pressure washer to remove that tomorrow.

The rustoleum kit from home depot. Given the comment's i've read should I not bother?

It sounds like you've done plenty in terms of your prep. Generally you acid wash or grind, not both. The water being absorbed quickly into the concrete is what you want to see. If any white powder sticks to your fingers as you rub them across the surface then you definitely need to get that up first.

With all the prep you have done, I would recommend that you go with a better quality epoxy product. It will cost you more, but the return on your dollars over the years that it will last makes it the better investment.
