Epoxy Coating & LED Lighting Question ?

Hello Everyone - I just coated my basement workshop with Rustoleaum EpxoyShield Professional. It hasn't dried yet, but I had been planning to apply the clear coat in a couple days. However, after some research I've learned that the clear coat has a habit of yellowing if exposed to UV light. This should not be an issue in the basement, but I do have bright LEDs in that workshop and I've read several comments stating that bright LEDs can yellow the coating as well. Has anyone heard of this ? Does it make sense ? And is so - is there any UV protection I can apply. Thank you !

Epoxies all tend to yellow. Polyureas don't. I believe you can apply a clear Polyurea top coat over your epoxy base and it should work.

Better yet use something like our SPGX one part polyurea...it can't yellow. Available in clear or pigmented versions.

Any epoxy, even if protected with a UV stable urethane or polyurea could yellow possibly.
