Epoxy coating on baseboard

I am planning to epoxy coat my garage floor. I would like to install 8" wood baseboards, caulk them to the floor, then epoxy coat the floor and baseboards. Will the epoxy adhere to the baseboard? Which caulking should I use for the floor to baseboard joint?

I am pretty sure that most epoxy companies will epoxy wood stairs but from what I have heard will not warranty it like they would on the concrete. I would assume that if they can get it to stick to wood stairs with foot traffic getting it to adhere to wood baseboard wouldn't be an issue. The bigger issue I could see is how it holds up to taking a hit from items moving around the shop etc. I hope someone more knowledgeable than myself will chime in as I am curious of the answers as well.
